Jeddah Waterfront is a mixed-use development located north of Jeddah in Al Shati District. It forms part of Vision 2030, the country’s ambitious economic and political reform. The objectives behind the project aim to provide a unique identity to this linear coastal stretch and to reinforce the public realm through a series of landscaped open spaces that support a more sustainable and pedestrian community, with multi-modal connections throughout the site as well as to other parts of the city.
The site is flanked by the main arterial roads that lead to the city center and to Jeddah International Airport. The multi-polar development has been conceived around three main urban nodes, each with a strong pedestrian connection between the future tram stations and the water bus stops. The program includes open and continuous public spaces along the coast, with branded and unbranded residential units, a marina, four and five star hotels, as well as retail, food and beverage in addition to leisure facilities.
